Jam Thumbprints
Soft, buttery vegan thumbprint cookies filled with bright raspberry or strawberry jam. Simple pantry staples, no eggs or dairy needed, and ready in under 30 minutes.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose or oat flour
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegan butter
- 1/3 cup cane sugar
- 2 tbsp applesauce
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- Raspberry or strawberry jam
- Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- 1Make the dough
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add applesauce and vanilla and mix well. Add dry ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms. Chill dough for 30 minutes.
- 2Shape and fill
Roll dough into balls. Press the center of each ball with your thumb to create a well. Fill each well with jam.
- 3Bake and serve
Bake at 350 degrees F for 12-14 minutes until edges are lightly set. Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar if desired.
